In a formal and celebratory atmosphere, the historic venue of Mashour Sittiniya – Sahrij Swani in the city of Meknes hosted a royal banquet on Thursday evening, held on behalf of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, in honor of the guests and participants of the 17th edition of the International Agricultural Fair in Morocco.
The event was presided over by Prime Minister Aziz Akhannouch and attended by prominent figures, including the Speaker of the House of Representatives, several cabinet members, African ministers and officials in charge of agriculture, members of the diplomatic corps accredited in Morocco, as well as the Wali of the Fès-Meknes region, the governors of Fès and Meknes, and a number of civilian and military dignitaries.
The occasion also served as an opportunity to honor distinguished contributors in the agricultural sector. The Prime Minister presented awards to twelve outstanding regional production units, as well as recognitions based on sectoral excellence. Additionally, sixteen prominent contributions within the Fair’s thematic zones were celebrated, in acknowledgment of the efforts made to promote agriculture and strengthen food security in the Kingdom.
