Police forces in Meknes have successfully executed a targeted operation resulting in the arrest of a 20-year-old woman suspected of possessing and distributing drugs and psychotropic substances. This operation was based on precise intelligence provided by the General Directorate of Territorial Surveillance.
The arrest took place on Sunday, August 11th, at noon in the Meknes railway station. The suspect was apprehended immediately upon her arrival on a train from a city in northern Morocco. During the subsequent search, security forces discovered a large quantity of illicit drugs in her possession, totaling 1,704 tablets of “Ecstasy” and “Rivotril”.
Following the arrest, the suspect was placed under judicial investigation under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor’s office.
