After the Club’s Management Withdraws Charges: A Royal Army Fan Leaves Local Prison After 4 Days of Detention for Insulting Accusations

The management of the Royal Army Club has withdrawn charges against a fan of the club who is suffering from cancer, after he was arrested and placed in Ain Aicha local prison on charges of insult and defamation.

According to available information, the fan, who hails from the town of Taounate, was arrested based on a complaint filed by the club due to a post he published on his Facebook page criticizing the club’s management policies in recent times. After a lawsuit was filed against him, the judicial police in Taounate took his statements before he was arrested by order of the public prosecutor at the city’s court.

The arrest of the fan sparked strong reactions among Royal Army supporters, leading to a widespread campaign urging the club’s management to withdraw the lawsuit, considering the fan’s critical health condition. The management responded to these demands, allowing him to leave prison and regain his freedom.
