Bank Al-Maghrib Launches New Online Portal Providing Citizens with Instant and Secure Access to Their Banking Information (Details)

Bank Al-Maghrib announced on Monday the launch of a new online portal that enables citizens to securely and instantly access information related to their bank accounts. This launch is part of the bank’s ongoing efforts to enhance the digitization of banking services and simplify banking procedures for citizens.

The new platform was unveiled during the “GITEX Africa 2025” exhibition held in Marrakech from April 14 to 16. This initiative is part of Bank Al-Maghrib’s continued efforts to modernize and strengthen the services offered to citizens through the digitalization of shared interest services provided by the bank, with the goal of improving access to banking information while ensuring security.

The online portal offers three main services:

  1. Bank Account Information: This service allows users to view the details of all their bank accounts, whether active or closed, across any of the banking institutions.
  2. Bank Account Information for Deceased Persons: As part of estate management, heirs, agents, or concerned individuals can access details of the deceased person’s accounts and receive this information from any Bank Al-Maghrib branch.
  3. Cheque Payment Defaults: This service enables issuers to view cheque payment defaults.

To ensure complete security when using the platform, Bank Al-Maghrib has implemented an advanced authentication system in collaboration with the Directorate General of National Security, which verifies the user’s identity using official documents.

Citizens can access the portal through the designated link: PortailUsagers.Bankalmaghrib.ma.

This launch reflects Bank Al-Maghrib’s commitment to enhancing transparency and improving access to financial information at a time when the Kingdom is undergoing significant changes in digitization. This initiative allows citizens to access banking services more easily and quickly, while simultaneously ensuring the protection of personal data.
