Sophie Hatt, Director of International Security Cooperation in France, has revealed the participation of a team of Moroccan demining experts in securing the 2024 Olympic Games in France. Hatt, in a post on LinkedIn, indicated that these experts belong to the General Directorate of National Security of Morocco (DGSN).
Hatt documented this participation with a published photo showing the Moroccan experts alongside their French counterparts in the demining intervention group in Bordeaux. She explained that Morocco, being a reference in the field of demining, was invited by the French Ministry of Interior to contribute to enhancing security during the Olympic Games.
The Director of International Security Cooperation stated that 10 Moroccan demining experts have been deployed in the host cities of Bordeaux, Lyon, Nice, and Lille. She added that these experts are working side by side with the French General Directorate of Civil Security and Crisis Management to ensure the security of the 2024 Olympic Games.
In concluding her post, Hatt expressed her gratitude and appreciation to the Moroccan partner for this valuable participation, confirming the importance of international cooperation in the field of security and demining.
