The Tangier Security Prefecture reacted quickly and seriously to a video clip circulating on social media that shows dangerous behaviors that violate traffic rules, where people drove their cars in a showy manner that endangered the lives and property of citizens.
Careful security investigations resulted in the identification of the suspects, which led to the arrest of five of them, while three of the cars that appeared in the video were deposited in the municipal detention center, where investigations revealed that these serious violations were committed on July 14, coinciding with the participation of the defendants in a wedding procession.
A sixth person who appeared in the video was arrested and found in possession of hallucinogenic substances, which led to his referral to the competent public prosecution, which decided to pursue him in a state of detention.
All the defendants, aged between 22 and 27, are under the supervision of the public prosecution to complete the investigations and uncover all the circumstances of this case, and the security authorities continue to search for the rest of the participants in these serious offenses, to ensure that they are brought to justice.
