The Laboratory of Applied Studies in Sharia and Law at the Faculty of Sharia at Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdallah University in Fez organized the second national forum for doctoral research students in Sharia and legal sciences, under the slogan “Knowledge and World Transformations”.
The forum witnessed the wide participation of doctoral students, who presented scientific presentations on various research topics in the fields of Islamic jurisprudence, law, fundamentals of sharia and contemporary intellectual issues.
In an opening speech, Prof. Dr. Abdelmalek Aouiche, Dean of the Faculty of Sharia in Fez, stressed the importance of scientific research in keeping pace with the rapid changes in the world, noting that “scientific research is the basis for full awareness of the issues that the world is living through, and it must be at the forefront of the concerns of nations and peoples.”
Prof. Aweesh added: “Such scientific forums are a valuable opportunity to exchange ideas and experiences among young researchers, encourage them to be creative and innovative, and provide scientific solutions to the challenges faced by Islamic and Arab societies.”
