According to digital sources, a 21-year-old woman with a criminal record was suspected of carrying out the kidnapping attempt, which was documented in a video circulated on social media platforms.
Sources clarified that security forces in Beni Mellal managed to apprehend the suspect in the Ben Kiran neighborhood of the city, due to her suspected involvement in the abduction attempt as well as violations of public intoxication laws.
The suspect has been placed under provisional custody, based on orders from judicial authorities, following a request from the local judicial police in Beni Mellal, under the supervision of the public prosecutor’s office, to conduct necessary investigations into all aspects and circumstances of this incident.
