Taounate – Khalid Satti, member of the House of Councillors representing the National Union of Labour in Morocco, has submitted a written question to Abdelouafi Laftit, Minister of the Interior, regarding what he described as delays affecting several development projects in Taounate Province, as well as weak coordination among local stakeholders.

In his question, Satti stated that the province is experiencing delays in the implementation of certain agricultural and development-oriented programs, which, according to him, negatively impacts the pace of local development and the attractiveness of the territorial area.
The parliamentary advisor asked about the measures taken by the Ministry of the Interior to enhance Taounate’s attractiveness and ensure better convergence and coherence among government programs implemented locally, in order to achieve the required efficiency in executing public projects.
He also inquired about the reasons behind the suspension or delay of some projects, the steps planned to relaunch them, and the role of territorial authorities in supporting investors and simplifying administrative procedures at the provincial level.

This question falls within the framework of parliamentary oversight of government action, pending the Ministry of the Interior’s response in accordance with procedures in force within the legislative institution.
The newspaper affirms that it will publish any official clarifications or responses once issued, in keeping with balanced reporting and respect for diverse viewpoints.
