The new neighborhood of Zouagha Al-Olya in the city of Fez witnessed a murder that shook the local residents, where a dispute between a man in his fifties and his young neighbor, aged about twenty, resulted in the death of the former.
According to security sources, the conflict between the two parties escalated suddenly, with the suspect using a clay pot (tajine) as a weapon, delivering fatal blows to the man in his fifties, causing his death at the scene.
Security forces at the Fez Police Department succeeded in apprehending the suspect, who is currently undergoing extensive investigations to uncover all details of the crime and determine its motives.
The incident sparked genuine outrage among the residents, who demanded stricter security measures to prevent such cases and protect citizens from family or neighborhood disputes that could escalate into serious violence.
