On the afternoon of Sunday, June 29, Director General of National Security and Territorial Surveillance, Mr. Abdel Latif Hammouchi, reviewed the comprehensive security arrangements and safety protocols implemented by the Fez Security Directorate to secure the Throne Cup final match taking place this evening at the Fez Sports Complex between Olympique Safi and Nahdat Berkane.
During this inspection visit to the main stadium in Fez, Mr. Hammouchi was accompanied by the Security Governor, directors from the central services of the General Directorate of National Security, and security officials at the provincial level in Fez. They provided detailed briefings and on-site presentations regarding the match security plan, ensuring the safety of spectators, stands, and sports facilities, as well as organizing safe and smooth access and exit from the stadium.
The security delegation, led by Mr. Hammouchi, also reviewed traffic and circulation plans on various routes leading to the stadium, along with urban monitoring strategies implemented through the command and coordination center. These measures aim to facilitate the flow of fans and secure traffic for all road users.
During the visit, the Director General emphasized the importance of “providing the highest levels of security and readiness to ensure the success of this national sporting event,” stressing the need to “mobilize all human and logistical resources to create a safe and suitable environment for the sporting competition.”
