The village of Aba Mohammed is witnessing serious developments as a group of unemployed people continue their hunger strike as they enter their seventh day of this strike, and the Follow-up Committee of the Unemployed Battle has called for urgent intervention by local and national authorities to save the lives of the strikers and meet their legitimate demands.
In a statement, the committee announced its absolute solidarity with the strikers, who are on an open-ended hunger strike to demand their right to work and organize.
The committee emphasized the deteriorating health condition of the strikers, which threatens their lives, calling on the local and national authorities to intervene urgently to save them, and called on the Pasha of Aba Mohammed village and the governor of Taounate region to intervene immediately and respond to the demands of the unemployed.
The committee stressed the importance of the role of all local and national actors in supporting the demands of the unemployed, by participating in the initiatives launched by the committee to find urgent solutions to this crisis.
