In an atmosphere of love, harmony and joy, the staff and inmates of the local prison Ain Aicha in Taounate Province celebrated the blessed Eid al-Adha on Monday, June 17, 2024. Under the supervision of the directors of the prison institutions and the regional and local branches of the Social Solidarity Association for male and female employees of the General Delegation for Prison and Reintegration Administration, the Eid al-Adha sacrifice was slaughtered in the presence of the director of the institution, the head of security and discipline and the social supervisor. They also shared a meal together, creating a spirit of harmony and cohesion among all.
Within the framework of the integration approach introduced by Law 98/23 governing prisons, the local prison witnessed a special social activity, where the staff shared the joy of Eid al-Adha with the inmates in an atmosphere of discipline and responsibility. A number of sacrificial animals were slaughtered and meals were served in different neighborhoods of the institution, with all the necessary security arrangements and measures in place.
This activity reflects the sacrifice of the staff who left their families and children on the morning of Eid to fulfill their noble educational and integration duty. At the same time, the institution, as in other prisons, has mobilized its resources and put the organizational and security touches in place for the successful delivery of the Eid Gafa, which will start on Tuesday, the second day of Eid.
On this occasion, the Fes News staff extends its warmest congratulations to all prison staff, asking God Almighty to accept their efforts and sacrifices.
