The military wing of Hamas, known as the Al-Qassam Brigades, has announced that they launched a large missile strike on the city of Tel Aviv for the first time in months.
Reason for the Attack
In a statement released on Hamas’ Telegram account, the Al-Qassam Brigades stated that the missile launch was in response to Israeli massacres against civilians.
Israeli Army Response
The Israeli army radio reported that around 12 rockets were fired from the city of Rafah in southern Gaza, landing just meters away from Israeli military positions.
Alarm Sirens in Tel Aviv
According to Agence France-Presse, alarm sirens went off in Tel Aviv, Israel’s commercial center, for the first time in months, with at least a few explosions reported in central Israel.
