On Saturday, police officers in the Tangier Medina security zone were able to arrest a taxi driver suspected of being involved in a case related to the beating and wounding of a female passenger.
The suspected driver appeared in a video circulating on social media, subjecting a woman who was on board the taxi to physical violence that endangered her safety.
According to security data, the suspected taxi driver was kept under theoretical guard pending judicial investigation supervised by the competent Public Prosecution, in order to uncover all the circumstances, circumstances and background of this case.
