Ifrane – La commune d’Aïn Leuh, dans la province d’Ifrane, accueille depuis ce jeudi la 25ᵉ édition du Festival national de l’Ahidous, organisée sous le Haut Patronage de Sa Majesté le Roi Mohammed VI, à l’initiative du ministère de la Jeunesse, de la Culture et de la Communication – Département de la Culture, en partenariat avec l’Association Thaïmat des Arts de l’Atlas, la Province d’Ifrane, le Conseil provincial d’Ifrane et la commune d’Aïn Leuh.

Les festivités se poursuivront jusqu’au 25 juillet, avec la participation de troupes représentant les différentes expressions et écoles de l’art de l’Ahidous venues de plusieurs provinces et préfectures du Royaume. Cette manifestation vise à mettre en valeur l’un des principaux éléments du patrimoine culturel immatériel marocain et à renforcer sa présence dans le paysage culturel national.

Le Festival national de l’Ahidous constitue un rendez-vous annuel consacré à la célébration de cet art traditionnel, reflet de la richesse du patrimoine culturel marocain. Il offre également une plateforme permettant aux troupes artistiques, poètes et créateurs de faire connaître leur talent, tout en soutenant les efforts de sauvegarde, de transmission et de valorisation de cet héritage auprès des nouvelles générations.

Selon les organisateurs, cette 25ᵉ édition proposera des spectacles artistiques et chorégraphiques interprétés par des ensembles représentant les différentes formes de l’Ahidous. Une cérémonie d’hommage sera également organisée en l’honneur de plusieurs figures emblématiques de cet art, en reconnaissance de leur contribution à sa préservation et à sa promotion.

Ifrane – The 25th edition of the National Ahidous Festival officially opened on Thursday in the municipality of Aïn Leuh, in Morocco’s Ifrane Province. The event is held under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI and is organized by the Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication – Department of Culture, in partnership with the Thaïmat Association for Atlas Arts, the Ifrane Provincial Authority, the Ifrane Provincial Council, and the Municipality of Aïn Leuh.

The festival runs until 25 July and features performances by traditional Ahidous troupes representing various styles and regional expressions from across Morocco. The event aims to promote one of the country’s most prominent elements of intangible cultural heritage and strengthen its place within Morocco’s cultural landscape.
