Fès – Le Maghreb Association Sportive de Fès (MAS) a bénéficié d’un soutien financier exceptionnel de 18 millions de dirhams accordé par les autorités et les institutions élues de la région Fès-Meknès, à la suite de son sacre en Botola Pro Inwi D1, dans le but d’accompagner les ambitions du club et de renforcer sa préparation aux prochaines compétitions nationales et continentales.
Cette aide a été annoncée mardi lors d’une cérémonie officielle organisée en l’honneur de l’équipe à Fès, quelques heures avant la remise du trophée de la Botola Pro au Complexe sportif de Fès, célébrant un titre qualifié d’historique puisqu’il marque le retour du club au sommet du football marocain après 41 ans d’attente.
L’enveloppe financière est répartie en trois contributions : le Conseil de la région Fès-Meknès a accordé 10 millions de dirhams, le Conseil communal de Fès a annoncé une subvention exceptionnelle de 5 millions de dirhams, tandis que le Conseil préfectoral de Fès a alloué 3 millions de dirhams, portant ainsi le montant total du soutien à 18 millions de dirhams.
Lors de la cérémonie, le wali de la région Fès-Meknès, Khalid Aït Taleb, a souligné que ce sacre constitue une étape historique dans le parcours du club. Il a affirmé que cette réussite est le fruit des efforts constants des joueurs, du staff technique, de l’administration et des dirigeants, ainsi que du soutien apporté par les autorités locales et les fidèles supporters du MAS.
De son côté, le président du club, Mohamed Bouzoubaâ, a exprimé sa gratitude envers les autorités et les conseils élus pour ce soutien, estimant qu’il donnera au club un nouvel élan afin de relever les défis à venir, notamment dans les compétitions nationales et continentales, tout en poursuivant la mise en œuvre du projet sportif du club.
Ce soutien intervient alors que le Maghreb de Fès s’apprête à célébrer le 80ᵉ anniversaire de sa création, avec l’ambition d’ouvrir une nouvelle phase de son histoire et de consolider sa place parmi les grandes équipes du football marocain, après avoir retrouvé le titre de champion pour la première fois depuis plus de quatre décennies.
Maghreb de Fès Receives MAD 18 Million Following Historic League Title Triumph
Fès – Maghreb Association Sportive de Fès (MAS) has received an exceptional financial grant of 18 million Moroccan dirhams from the authorities and elected institutions of the Fès-Meknès region following its triumph in the Botola Pro Inwi Division One, in a move aimed at supporting the club’s ambitions and strengthening its readiness for upcoming national and continental competitions.
The financial support was announced on Tuesday during an official ceremony held in honor of the club in Fès, just hours before the presentation of the Botola Pro trophy at the Fès Sports Complex. The title has been described as historic, as it ended the club’s 41-year wait for the Moroccan league championship.
The exceptional funding is divided into three contributions: the Fès-Meknès Regional Council allocated MAD 10 million, the Fès Municipal Council granted an exceptional subsidy of MAD 5 million, and the Fès Provincial Council contributed MAD 3 million, bringing the total support package to MAD 18 million.
During the ceremony, the Wali of the Fès-Meknès region, Khalid Aït Taleb, described the championship as a historic milestone in the club’s journey, emphasizing that the achievement was the result of the continuous efforts of the players, coaching staff, management, and club officials, as well as the unwavering support of local authorities and the club’s loyal fans.
For his part, club president Mohamed Bouzoubaâ expressed his appreciation to the authorities and elected councils for the financial support, stating that it would provide the club with a strong boost as it prepares for future challenges, particularly its participation in national and continental competitions, while continuing to implement its long-term sporting project.
The financial backing comes as Maghreb de Fès prepares to celebrate the 80th anniversary of its founding, with ambitions to begin a new chapter that strengthens its position among Morocco’s top football clubs after reclaiming the league title for the first time in more than four decades.
