In a previous statement to Hespress, Commune President Abdelali Derrariz said that the decision to demolish the deteriorating administrative building was taken on February 17, 2025, based on a resolution adopted during the ordinary session of October 2024. The council approved, by majority vote, the acquisition of a state-owned land plot for the construction of a new administrative headquarters.
Dans une déclaration antérieure au site Hespress, le président de la commune, Abdelali Derrariz, a indiqué que la décision de démolir le bâtiment administratif menaçant ruine avait été prise le 17 février 2025, conformément à une délibération adoptée lors de la session ordinaire d’octobre 2024. Le conseil avait approuvé à la majorité l’acquisition d’un terrain relevant du domaine de l’État pour la construction d’un nouveau siège administratif.

He added that a topographic plan of the land had been prepared and that correspondence was sent to the State Property Delegate in Taounate on March 12, 2025, followed by a reminder on August 7, 2025. However, he noted that the acquisition procedure had not progressed at the expected pace.
