Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah University has further strengthened its academic standing at the regional level after winning 14 out of 17 awards during the second edition of the Regional Scientific Research Award of the Fes-Meknes region for the year 2025, representing 82 percent of the total awards granted.
According to data released by the university, this achievement reflects the sustained momentum the institution has experienced in the fields of scientific research and innovation, as well as the diversity and quality of its academic output across multiple disciplines.
The awards obtained were distributed across several scientific fields, including literature and humanities, legal sciences, medical and pharmaceutical sciences, as well as the natural sciences. The university received distinctions in the categories of authored works, doctoral theses, and innovation, in line with the specificities of each field.
The university emphasized that this distinction is the result of continuous investment in human capital and the effectiveness of the policies adopted to support scientific research and encourage researchers to engage in creative, high–value-added academic production, in a manner that serves both regional and national development.
This recognition further consolidates the prestigious position occupied by Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah University at the regional level and highlights its active role in promoting academic excellence and enhancing the visibility and impact of scientific research in the Fes–Meknes region.
