The city of Fes witnessed, earlier today Wednesday, reinforced human and logistical mobilization and a practical demonstration of security readiness at the sports complex, as part of special preparations to secure New Year’s Eve and ensure that it takes place in an atmosphere of safety and public order.
According to information obtained by Fes News, these preparations included strengthening the field presence of various security units around the sports complex as well as along several key routes and sensitive areas across the city, in addition to deploying logistical and technical resources to support monitoring operations and ensure rapid intervention when necessary.
This field demonstration comes within the framework of a preventive approach adopted by security services, based on prior readiness and close coordination among different teams and units, ensuring the effectiveness of interventions and safeguarding citizens and their property during this occasion.
The step also forms part of the seasonal measures implemented by the General Directorate of National Security, through which security deployment is adapted to the specific characteristics of each city and the level of public turnout in public spaces during festive periods.
