The “Fes Fan Zone,” located in the Oued Fes neighborhood near a major shopping center on the Meknes road, witnessed intensified health preparations on Monday, in parallel with the live screening of Morocco’s match against Zambia on giant screens as part of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (Morocco 2025) festivities.
According to information received by Fes News, health teams التابعة to the provincial delegation of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection in Fes mobilized their human and logistical resources to raise readiness levels ahead of kickoff, ensuring rapid response capacity for any potential emergency cases among visitors and supporters.
The same source said medical staff have been working since the start of the mobilization to guarantee the safety and comfort of attendees by providing first aid and handling minor injuries such as cuts and bruises, while remaining prepared to respond to urgent and emergency situations. In coordination with hospitals in Fes, cases are transferred depending on severity to complete treatment when necessary.
In addition to medical care, the mobilization also included awareness and outreach efforts, delivering messages aimed at promoting public health—particularly on preventing certain illnesses—in order to provide a safe and healthy environment for fans to enjoy the tournament atmosphere.
