Medical partnership on the horizon in Qatar: MAS (Maghreb de Fès) aims to boost players’ readiness (Details)

Moroccan club Maghreb Association Sportive de Fès (MAS) said in an official statement that Omar Bennis, President of the club’s sports company, held an official meeting with officials from Aspetar Hospital in Qatar, on the sidelines of the team’s training camp currently taking place there, and in the presence of the club’s General Manager Hicham Wazouqi.

The statement explained that the meeting brought together the club’s representatives and Dr. Jamal Rashid Al-Fanji, Executive Director for Patient Affairs at Aspetar Hospital, which is presented as a specialized medical institution in orthopedic surgery and sports medicine, with experience supporting clubs and national teams and providing treatment and rehabilitation services according to recognized standards.

The same source noted that the meeting served as an opportunity to explore prospects for joint cooperation and exchange views on ways to develop the club’s medical and sports care, particularly in relation to player monitoring, injury prevention, and accelerating rehabilitation and treatment processes through modern approaches.

According to the statement, the meeting concluded with a preliminary agreement to sign a partnership deal between MAS and Aspetar Hospital, to be finalized in the coming weeks.
