Fez: Mohamed Ben Al-Hassan Al-Wazzani Secondary School Celebrates Short Story Stars in an Honorable Creative Ceremony

In a creative atmosphere filled with enthusiasm and passion for words, the Creative Writing Club at Mohamed Ben Al-Hassan Al-Wazzani Preparatory Secondary School in the Saïss commune, Fez Province, organized an award ceremony for the short story competition for the current academic year, attended by the school director, educational staff, and members of the Parents and Guardians Association.

The ceremony, which reflected the high level of creativity among the school’s students, was held under the direct supervision of Professor Khadija Saeedi, who accompanied the competition since its launch, providing guidance and necessary support to participants throughout all stages of writing and drafting.

A professional and independent jury committee consisting of the following professors:

  • Najwa Rahimi
  • Fatima Salehi
  • Bushra Masawi

evaluated the submitted works with complete objectivity and integrity, focusing on originality, language, rich imagination, and artistic message.

In his speech, the school director emphasized that this competition is not merely a cultural activity, but a genuine investment in developing students’ writing and expression skills, and promoting love for reading and literary creativity among tomorrow’s generation.

For its part, the Parents and Guardians Association valued this initiative, confirming its full support for all activities that contribute to refining the talents of their sons and daughters beyond traditional academic programs.

The school’s Creative Writing Club is expected to publish a story collection featuring the winning and outstanding works, which will serve as a creative document preserving the legacy of this generation of future writers.
