As part of enhancing public service governance and involving youth in the management of public affairs, the Delegation of the Ombudsman of the Kingdom in the Fez-Meknes region, in partnership with the Regional Directorate of the Youth Sector in the Fez-Meknes region, is organizing the First Regional Forum on Public Service Governance. This will take place on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at half past two in the afternoon (14:30), at the Conference Palace on Allal Ben Abdellah Avenue in the city of Fez.
The forum’s theme centers on: “Youth as a Strategic Partner in Improving Public Services in the Field of Public Health,” an initiative aimed at strengthening youth engagement in developing public facilities, particularly in the health sector, which constitutes one of the fundamental pillars of social development in Morocco.
The organization of this regional meeting comes in the context of national efforts aimed at establishing the principles of good governance and implementing a participatory approach that makes citizens, especially youth, key actors in improving the quality of public services and ensuring effective performance within public facilities.
The forum is expected to see the participation of administrative officials, representatives from the health and youth sectors, as well as civil society actors and academics, to discuss ways to strengthen institutional and societal partnerships for more effective and quality health services.
