A shocking crime took place this morning in the Bernoussi district of Casablanca, where a repeat offender stormed into a lawyer’s office and brutally assaulted his secretary in broad daylight, leaving her in a state of severe shock.
According to preliminary information, the perpetrator had visited the office twice the previous day, asking about the lawyer. However, the secretary refused to open the door, explaining that the lawyer was not present. The next morning, the man returned, claiming that he was sent by the lawyer to deliver some documents. Seeing him holding a file, the secretary believed him and let him in.
Once inside, he asked to use the restroom. When she showed him the way, he suddenly pulled out a knife, threatened her, dragged her into the restroom, tied her up, and violently assaulted her — physically and sexually — before fleeing through the bathroom window, leaving the terrified victim bound and crying hysterically.
People in nearby offices heard her screams and rushed to help. They found her in a pitiful state and immediately called the police, who arrived at the scene and launched an urgent investigation to track down the fugitive criminal.
The victim told investigators that the assailant had come by the office several times before, suggesting that he had premeditated the attack.
The incident sparked widespread outrage among locals, who demanded stricter security measures around professional offices and harsh punishment for the perpetrator.
