A large student march took place today, Tuesday, around the Duhur Al-Mahraz university complex in Fes, expressing social demands. The march ended peacefully and in an organized manner without any incidents, with widespread commendation for the civilized approach of both the protest and the balanced response by security forces that secured its course.
The student march began and passed through several streets surrounding the university compound, where participants carried slogans described as “measured” to voice their demands. The organizers demonstrated wisdom in guiding the protesters and successfully protected several minors who spontaneously and enthusiastically joined the demonstration.
Meanwhile, security authorities established a cordon to secure the march and protect public and private property. They applied a proactive strategy that prevented any attempts to infiltrate the protesters’ ranks or divert the march’s path, resulting in the protest concluding without any arrests or injuries on either side.
