At this moment on the evening of Saturday, September 27, 2025, an attempt is underway to organize a protest stand at Al-Faras Square in the center of Tissa town, Taounate province, challenging the ban issued earlier today by local authorities.
According to initial photos obtained by the newspaper “Fes News,” dozens of protesters gathered at the mentioned square in response to a call launched by the “Dignity Call Committee,” before public security forces intervened and imposed a heavy security cordon to prevent the protest from spreading.
The protesters raised slogans demanding social justice and development, condemning what they called “marginalization,” and chanted phrases such as “Protesting is a legitimate right, and the establishment does not own it.”
This development follows the official decision by the Tissa Pashalik to ban the stand, justifying it by “preserving public security and order,” amid the ongoing tension in the province linked to developmental and social demands.
