A community activist from the Aouinat Al-Hajjaj area confirmed that the momentum demanding the improvement of the health system remains strong and ongoing. He pointed out that the state has spared no effort in allocating significant financial resources to develop the health sector. However, the speaker emphasized that the core of real reform lies in reviving professional conscience and establishing ethical practices within the medical staff.
He explained that some nearby health facilities in the Saïs district are experiencing a state of disorder, with repeated cases of absenteeism and delays in a noticeable manner, amid a decline in moral deterrents. This negatively affects official efforts and increases the suffering of ordinary citizens.
It is worth noting that many Moroccan cities have recently witnessed protests against the weakness of public health services, the latest of which occurred yesterday in the city of Taounate, where residents demanded improved performance of health facilities and the assurance of providing necessary care regularly.
