The Primary Criminal Chamber in Fes issued today, Thursday, September 18, 2025, its ruling condemning the YouTuber known as “Moul Qartasa,” nicknamed Qanzouz, to five years of effective imprisonment, following charges against him for incitement against the territorial integrity of the Kingdom and insulting a constitutional institution.
The Public Prosecutor at the Fes Court of Appeal had issued, on Thursday, August 28, 2025, an arrest warrant for Qanzouz and placed him in pretrial detention at Bourkaiz Prison, where he was prosecuted for serious charges.
This ruling comes after he had recently benefited from a royal pardon, raising questions about the reasons behind his return to unlawful practices, affirming that the law and national sovereignty are above all considerations.
It is noted that this decision reflects the judiciary’s seriousness in confronting anyone who attempts to undermine national unity and the constitutional foundations of the country.
