Tangier, Morocco – Police officers in the Tangier security prefecture successfully arrested a 46-year-old man last Saturday after he verbally assaulted a female police officer and physically assaulted two Civil Protection agents while they were attempting to provide him with aid. The suspect, who has a criminal record, was in an advanced state of intoxication.
According to initial investigation reports, the suspect had been involved in a violent altercation with another individual, during which he used a bladed weapon, before proceeding to assault the security and civil agents who arrived at the scene.
