Mr. Abdelghani Sebbar, Acting Wali of the Fès-Meknès Region, officially launched the third edition of the National Volunteering Program for 2025, held under the slogan: “Volunteer.. Where We Are Moroccans.” This program aims to raise awareness about citizenship and the values of civic engagement among young people through a series of seminars, lectures, and training workshops scheduled over the course of a full week.
The opening ceremony was marked by the presence of several prominent figures, including Mr. Ismail Hamraoui, Regional Director of the Youth Sector in Fès-Meknès, and the President of the Fès-Meknès Regional Council, alongside a number of provincial directors, as well as military and civil dignitaries and heads of external services in the region.
This event reflects the important and active involvement of various institutional actors in successfully implementing this vital educational and developmental initiative, which serves as a platform to promote the spirit of volunteering and social responsibility among youth, while supporting the values of belonging and active citizenship within society.
This national program comes as part of ongoing efforts to advance civic education and develop youth skills, contributing to the formation of a new generation capable of positive and constructive participation in the path of national development.
