This situation leaves patients in critical health conditions facing their fate for long hours, in blatant violation of the laws regulating these institutions.

Several citizens recounted their bitter experiences to the media, confirming that after arriving at the emergency rooms of some private clinics in critical conditions, they found only nurses trying to manage the situation over the phone while waiting for a doctor who may be delayed for hours. These testimonies reveal a worrying reality that directly endangers patients’ lives.
Clear Violation of the Law
A knowledgeable medical source confirmed that this situation constitutes a “clear violation” of the law, as stipulated in the provisions of the decree regulating the sector. According to Article 4 of Decree 2.03.658 concerning the regulation of private clinics:
“Every clinic must ensure medical on-call service 24/7, especially in the emergency department, with the presence of an on-duty doctor…”
The legal text is explicit and leaves no room for interpretation, placing these clinics in direct violation that requires accountability.
