Jamal Al-Salmi, the national coach of the Jordanian football team, announced official communications with the Moroccan Royal Football Federation regarding the possibility of organizing a training camp in Morocco as part of preparations for Jordan’s anticipated participation in the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

In media statements, Al-Salmi explained that he has devised a comprehensive strategy to prepare the Jordanian team for the World Cup, which has been submitted to the Jordan Football Association. The plan includes preparation phases, friendly matches, and physical and technical training programs.

Al-Salmi added:
“Morocco boasts world-class sports infrastructure, including stadiums and training centers. If the Jordanian Football Association agrees, we welcome the idea of holding the camp in the Kingdom, especially as it provides opportunities to compete against strong African teams.”
