According to a statement issued by the Head of Government’s office, the meeting’s agenda will include discussions on a draft law related to school education, as well as a draft decree-law amending the law establishing the National Agency for Water and Forests.

The council will also address two draft decrees, the first concerning disability and old-age pensions paid by the National Social Security Fund, and the second concerning the implementation of certain provisions of the Dahir (royal decree) constituting the law on the social security system.

Among other issues to be discussed by the council is an agreement between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Republic of Malawi on mutual legal assistance in criminal matters, which was signed in the city of Laayoune on July 16, 2024, as well as a draft law approving this agreement.

At the end of the meeting, proposals for appointments to senior positions will be considered, in accordance with the provisions of Article 92 of the Constitution.

Following the council meeting, the government will hold another meeting to discuss some draft laws.

These meetings come within the framework of the Moroccan government’s efforts to improve services provided to citizens and strengthen international cooperation in the field of criminal justice.
