Attention: Ministry of Education Launches New Digital System to Facilitate Student Enrollment in Schools

The Ministry of National Education, Preschool, and Sports has announced the launch of a new digital system to register students eligible for schooling for the 2025–2026 academic year. This initiative is part of the implementation of the 2022–2026 Education Reform Roadmap. The system aims to facilitate children’s access to educational institutions and ensure equal opportunities for all students.

According to the ministerial circular issued on March 26, 2025, the electronic registration process for new students will take place annually from April 1 to April 30. Applications will be reviewed and approved between May 1 and May 15, with final results announced on May 20.

The system requires parents or guardians to input essential information about the child, such as full name, date and place of birth, birth certificate number, and civil registry number. They must also provide details about the parent or guardian and upload a copy of the national identity card. Contact information—address, phone number, and email—must be included, along with the name of the educational institution closest to the child’s residence.

The Ministry stressed the importance of accurate data entry, as all applications will undergo a verification process before approval. Parents will be notified about their application status through email or SMS.

In an effort to encourage broader family participation in this digital process, the Ministry called for intensified awareness campaigns in cooperation with regional academies, provincial directorates, and parent-teacher associations. These campaigns aim to inform families about the new procedures and provide necessary assistance in navigating the online platform.

This new digital registration system represents a significant advancement in school enrollment management. It allows for precise data processing and offers standardized information on registrants. The system contributes to better organization of the school year, reduces overcrowding, and ensures more balanced student distribution. It also reflects the Ministry’s strategic direction toward the digitalization of educational services, in line with the broader vision of electronic governance to streamline administrative procedures and promote transparency and efficiency.
