In an exclusive statement to Fes News, an elderly resident of Oulad Tayeb firmly rejected the exploitation of Ramadan food baskets for political purposes. He emphasized that what the community truly needs is not suspicious handouts but rather accountability for corrupt officials and the enforcement of the “Illicit Enrichment” law.
Speaking with deep frustration, he stated: “We are grateful to the security and judicial authorities for freeing us from a corrupt political network, and we don’t want to go through that again. We need honest politicians whose real concern is saving Oulad Tayeb, not exploiting the poverty of residents to secure votes. We will not trade our children’s future for a Ramadan food basket!”
