Based on accurate information provided by the DST services, the Anti-Gang Services in the Fez Security District brought down a drug trafficking gang

Based on information from the General Directorate of National Territory Surveillance (DGST), the anti-gang squad of the Fez Security Directorate arrested two individuals, aged 27 and 36, with prior criminal records, on Saturday, February 15. They are suspected of involvement in the possession and trafficking of drugs.

The suspects were apprehended in a commercial vehicle while allegedly possessing and peddling drugs in Fez. A search led to the discovery of 512 grams of cocaine, 70 kilograms of kif (cannabis) stalks, 16 kilograms of tba (tobacco) leaves, 1.2 kilograms of kif powder, 800 grams of hashish, and 400 grams of powdered tobacco inside the vehicle. Two mobile phones and an amount of money suspected to be proceeds from drug trafficking were also seized.

The suspects have been placed in custody for further investigation under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor’s office. The investigation aims to determine all the criminal acts attributed to them and to uncover any potential extensions of this criminal activity.
