Thanks to the Direct Intervention of King Mohammed VI, Morocco Facilitates the Release of Palestinian Funds Held by Israel

Palestinian Minister of Civil Affairs, Hussein Al-Sheikh, revealed the success of Morocco’s efforts, led by King Mohammed VI, in securing the release of Palestinian funds that had been held by Israel. Al-Sheikh expressed his deep gratitude to His Majesty the King for his personal intervention, confirming that this step allowed for the payment of Palestinian employees’ salaries, as well as the settlement of financial dues owed by the government to employees of the State of Palestine.

This announcement followed intensive diplomatic efforts spearheaded by King Mohammed VI, which resulted in the release of the withheld funds, thereby alleviating the financial burden on Palestinian employees and their families. The Palestinian minister praised Morocco’s ongoing support for the Palestinian cause, noting that this step reflects the fraternal solidarity between the Moroccan and Palestinian peoples.

This royal intervention is part of Morocco’s continuous efforts to support the Palestinian people in their struggle to achieve their legitimate rights. Many Palestinian employees expressed their relief at this development, thanking His Majesty the King for his efforts that have contributed to improving their financial situation.
