In a move that underscores the profound respect and appreciation the General Directorate for National Security (DGSN) has for its personnel who sacrifice their lives in the line of duty, Director General of National Security and Territorial Surveillance, Mr. Abdellatif Hammouchi, announced on Tuesday, December 17, an exceptional promotion for the late Officer Abdelghani Radouane.
Officer Abdelghani Radouane, a member of the Anti-Gang Unit in the Beni Mellal Security Division, fell in the line of duty during a field operation aimed at apprehending a suspect involved in drug trafficking and psychotropic substances. His bravery and dedication have etched his name onto the honor roll of heroism and sacrifice.
In recognition of the late officer’s remarkable service, Mr. Hammouchi instructed the central human resources department to record his exceptional promotion to the rank of Chief Police Officer in his official career record. This promotion carries both symbolic and material benefits for his family, reflecting the DGSN’s commitment to supporting the loved ones of its fallen heroes.
