Rabat – A statement from the Ministry of the Royal Household, Protocol and Chancellery announced that His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist and support him, received Fatima Zahra Mansouri on Tuesday at the Royal Palace in Rabat. She is the coordinator of the collective leadership of the Authenticity and Modernity Party.
The statement said that His Majesty the King appointed Fatima Zahra Mansouri as Head of Government and tasked her with forming the new government.
The appointment comes following the latest legislative elections, in which the Authenticity and Modernity Party topped the results, bringing Morocco into a new phase of political consultations related to the formation of the government. Campaigns and Elections
The appointment is particularly significant as Fatima Zahra Mansouri becomes the first woman to head the government in Morocco’s history, following a political and professional career that has combined legal practice, local administration, parliamentary work, government service and party leadership.
Consultations on the formation of the new government are expected to begin during the next stage, before its composition is presented in accordance with the constitutional provisions in force.

Rabat – Un communiqué du ministère de la Maison Royale, du Protocole et de la Chancellerie a annoncé que Sa Majesté le Roi Mohammed VI, que Dieu L’assiste et Le soutienne, a reçu ce mardi au Palais Royal à Rabat Mme Fatima Zahra Mansouri, coordinatrice de la direction collective du Parti authenticité et modernité.
Le communiqué précise que Sa Majesté le Roi a nommé Mme Fatima Zahra Mansouri à la tête du gouvernement et l’a chargée de former le nouveau gouvernement.
Cette nomination intervient à la suite des dernières élections législatives, au cours desquelles le Parti authenticité et modernité est arrivé en tête des résultats, faisant ainsi entrer le Maroc dans une nouvelle phase de consultations politiques liées à la formation du gouvernement. Cette nomination revêt une importance particulière, puisque Fatima Zahra Mansouri devient la première femme à diriger le gouvernement dans l’histoire du Maroc, après un parcours politique et professionnel ayant combiné le droit, la gestion locale, le Parlement, l’action gouvernementale et la direction partisane.
Des consultations en vue de la formation du nouveau gouvernement devraient s’ouvrir au cours de la prochaine étape, avant la présentation de sa composition conformément aux dispositions constitutionnelles en vigueur.
