Fès – La Fan Zone installée sur la place Bab Boujloud à Fès a accueilli, dans la nuit de lundi à mardi 30 juin 2026, plus de 10 000 supporters venus suivre le match opposant le Maroc aux Pays-Bas lors des seizièmes de finale de la Coupe du Monde 2026, dans une ambiance exceptionnelle qui s’est conclue par de grandes célébrations après la qualification des Lions de l’Atlas pour les huitièmes de finale.
L’espace, organisé par la Société des Infrastructures Sportives de Fès, a attiré un public nombreux de tous âges, ainsi que des visiteurs étrangers. Les supporters ont suivi la rencontre sur un écran géant et plusieurs écrans supplémentaires installés dans toute la place, transformée pour l’occasion en une immense tribune à ciel ouvert dédiée au soutien de l’équipe nationale.
La place Bab Boujloud a vécu des moments de forte tension après l’ouverture du score des Pays-Bas, avant d’exploser de joie lorsque le Maroc a égalisé dans les dernières minutes, puis lors de la séance de tirs au but qui a offert aux Lions de l’Atlas leur billet pour les huitièmes de finale.
Les alentours de la Fan Zone ont également connu une forte activité, les cafés, commerces et établissements voisins bénéficiant d’une importante affluence de visiteurs, illustrant ainsi les retombées économiques et touristiques de ce type d’événements sportifs pour la ville.

Fès – More than 10,000 football fans gathered at the Bab Boujloud Fan Zone in the city of Fès on Monday night and early Tuesday, June 30, 2026, to watch Morocco’s match against the Netherlands in the Round of 32 of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The vibrant atmosphere culminated in massive celebrations after the Atlas Lions secured a place in the Round of 16.
