Taza – Plusieurs habitants du quartier Al Massira 1 à Taza ont adressé un appel ouvert aux autorités locales et sécuritaires, exprimant leur mécontentement face à la dégradation des conditions sécuritaires et environnementales dans la zone avoisinant le terminus des bus ainsi que la forêt voisine. Selon eux, cet espace s’est transformé ces derniers mois en un point noir perturbant la tranquillité des habitants et menaçant la sécurité des familles et des enfants.
Taza – Several residents of the Al Massira 1 neighborhood in Taza issued an open appeal to local and security authorities, expressing concern over the deterioration of security and environmental conditions around the bus terminal and the nearby forest. According to residents, the area has recently turned into a troubled hotspot disrupting the peace of the neighborhood and threatening the safety of families and children.

Les habitants ont expliqué que depuis près de deux ans, la zone connaît une multiplication des scènes de désordre et des rassemblements nocturnes suspects, aggravés par l’absence d’un éclairage public suffisant. Cette situation aurait favorisé, selon leurs propos, la propagation de comportements portant atteinte à l’ordre public, notamment des bagarres nocturnes, des cris, des actes de vandalisme contre les conteneurs à déchets, ainsi que l’utilisation de l’espace vert voisin pour des pratiques liées à la consommation de drogues et d’alcool.
Residents explained that for nearly two years, the area has witnessed increasing disorder and suspicious nighttime gatherings, worsened by inadequate public lighting. According to them, this situation has contributed to the spread of behavior disturbing public order, including nighttime fights, shouting, vandalism targeting garbage containers, and the use of the nearby green space for activities related to drug and alcohol consumption.

Les personnes concernées ont affirmé que cette situation affecte directement la vie quotidienne des habitants, surtout pendant la nuit, où de nombreuses familles vivent dans un état de stress permanent en raison du bruit et des troubles répétés. Cette situation devient encore plus difficile avec l’arrivée de l’été et l’augmentation des rassemblements dans la zone.
Affected residents stressed that the situation is directly impacting daily life, especially at night, as many families are living in constant anxiety because of repeated noise and disturbances. The issue is expected to worsen with the arrival of summer and the increase in gatherings in the area.

Les habitants ont indiqué avoir déjà contacté les services de sécurité à plusieurs reprises, saluant certaines interventions effectuées, mais estimant que les solutions ponctuelles ne suffisent plus pour résoudre définitivement le problème. Ils demandent désormais une intervention globale sur le terrain afin de rétablir la sécurité et la sérénité dans le quartier.
Residents stated that they had already contacted security services on several occasions and praised some interventions carried out, but considered that temporary solutions are no longer sufficient to solve the issue permanently. They are now calling for a comprehensive field intervention to restore security and peace in the neighborhood.

Les habitants ont appelé le gouverneur de la province de Taza, le président du conseil communal et le préfet de police à intervenir en urgence afin de renforcer l’éclairage public autour du terminus et de la forêt voisine, d’intensifier les patrouilles de sécurité de manière régulière, ainsi que de réhabiliter l’espace vert pour en faire un lieu sûr au profit des habitants. Ils demandent également l’étude de la possibilité d’installer des caméras de surveillance pour limiter les actes de désordre et de criminalité.
Residents called on the governor of Taza Province, the president of the municipal council, and the police chief to intervene urgently by improving public lighting around the bus terminal and nearby forest, increasing regular security patrols, and rehabilitating the green area into a safe recreational space for residents.
