The General Directorate for Information Systems Security, under the National Defense Administration, has issued a warning to citizens using certain Apple devices about critical vulnerabilities that allow hackers to carry out several dangerous operations. These include remote arbitrary code execution, violation of personal data confidentiality, and causing service disruptions.
The directorate announced in a warning bulletin classified as “critical” in terms of severity and impact that Apple has released emergency security updates to fix multiple critical vulnerabilities affecting several of its products. It explained that exploitation of these vulnerabilities could enable attackers to execute arbitrary code remotely, compromise data confidentiality, escalate privileges, cause denial of service, or bypass security policies.
