65 Million Dirhams from the National Human Development Initiative to Support Youth Projects in Fez

The National Human Development Initiative allocated an investment budget of 65 million dirhams between 2021 and 2024 to support the program “Improving Income and Economic Integration of Youth” in the Fez Prefecture. This step aims to promote entrepreneurship, encourage youth innovation, and integrate them into the economic fabric.

According to the Social Work Department, 75 projects were completed under the “Income Improvement” axis with a financial envelope of 15 million dirhams. Meanwhile, under the entrepreneurship support axis, 626 projects were programmed at a total cost of 50 million dirhams. In 2023 alone, 238 projects were financed with an investment amounting to 18.80 million dirhams.

These efforts aim to increase the beneficiaries’ incomes by launching a new generation of economic integration projects that facilitate young people’s access to the entrepreneurial world. The program primarily targets the age group between 18 and 34 years through comprehensive support that extends from project idea development to implementation.

This program, part of the third phase of the National Human Development Initiative, embodies an integrated vision aimed at making human capital development and economic integration key drivers for reducing social and territorial disparities.
