A tragic traffic accident occurred in the city of Moulay Idriss Zerhoun yesterday afternoon, when a public transport bus collided with a café in the city center. The incident caused panic among pedestrians and customers, but fortunately, no fatalities were reported.
Immediately following the crash, local authorities and ambulance teams rushed to the scene. Despite the shock caused by the accident, the injuries were limited to two people, who were promptly transported to Mohammed V Hospital in Meknes for treatment.
While the café suffered significant material damage, the absence of any fatalities provided relief to the local residents, who expressed their appreciation for the swift response from the ambulance and police teams.
In the meantime, the relevant authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the accident to determine the underlying causes, amidst growing calls from citizens for stricter measures to ensure the safety of transportation in the city.
