Princess Lalla Hasnaa and Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad Al Thani presided over an exceptional event titled “Caftan Fashion Show” on Wednesday at Dar Al-Maghrib in Doha, Qatar. This prominent event was part of the Qatar-Morocco 2024 Cultural Year celebrations, showcasing the uniqueness and excellence of authentic Moroccan fashion.

Celebrating Tradition and Modernity

The show highlighted the creations of ten Moroccan caftan designers who successfully blended Morocco’s rich heritage with modern touches. Drawing inspiration from love poetry and Arabic calligraphy, the show emphasized the beauty of the Moroccan caftan as a symbol of timeless elegance.

Prominent designers participating in this event included Amina Benmousa, Yasmina Benyahya, Frédéric Berkmeer, Meriem Bouafi, Dar Sara Chraibi, Najlae Diouri, Zainab Joundy, Fawzia Naciri, Albert Oiknine, and Houda Serbouti. Their works presented a dazzling image of Moroccan traditional craftsmanship that combines creativity and authenticity.
