According to a source for “Fes News,” the residents of Fes city, particularly near the Lamtiyin health center, were shaken by a heinous crime that occurred around 4 PM on Wednesday, November 20, 2024. The crime targeted a young girl named (H/B), who suffered multiple stab wounds with a sharp object to her neck, shoulder, and legs, inflicted by a young man named (H/Q) who lives in the same neighborhood where the crime took place.
Immediately after the incident, civil society members and local residents contacted the responsible authorities. National security forces, led by the head of the Fes city area, arrived promptly, along with an ambulance and local authorities, represented by a neighborhood official and the head of the Lamtiyin administrative annex, who performed her duties professionally.
The victim was swiftly transported by civil protection personnel to Hassan II University Hospital for necessary medical treatment.
The crime, which sparked outrage among the residents, highlighted the struggles of the community with security black spots in the area, particularly in “Arsa Darb Al-Amar,” near the health center, which is considered a hotspot of problems troubling the residents.
At the same time, residents expressed their deep gratitude to the national security forces in Fes city, local authorities, and civil protection for their quick and professional response. They called for intensified security efforts through increased patrols aimed at cleansing these black spots of any criminal activities that threaten the safety and security of citizens.
