On Sunday, August 4, 2024, FC Meknassi announced, via its official page, the details of the preparation stages that the team is going through in preparation for the new sports season, as well as the methodology used in the recruitment of players, which raised controversy and questions among its supporters about the identity of the new faces.
In a statement issued by the administrative office, the club indicated that the team completed today the first preparatory phase, which was held in Ifrane and lasted throughout the week, and the atmosphere went positively.
The statement confirmed that the second phase of preparation will start next Tuesday in the city of Meknes, where it will include a preparatory match according to the program prepared by the technical staff and the sports director.
The club’s delegation will then head outside Meknes for a closed camp as part of the third phase, where the team will play four preparatory matches with teams from the first professional division.
At the end of the statement, the club sent a message to its fans, announcing that the management office will officially introduce the players and the technical staff after the end of the technical preparation period and the completion of the administrative procedures related to the qualification of the players.
