King Mohammed VI Presides Over Reception Marking 25th Anniversary of His Accession to the Throne

M’diq – King Mohammed VI, accompanied by Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan and Prince Moulay Rachid, presided over a reception on Tuesday afternoon at the prefecture square of M’diq-Fnideq (city of M’diq), commemorating the 25th anniversary of His Majesty’s accession to the throne of his glorious ancestors.

The ceremony began with the King saluting the national colors to the sound of the national anthem, while a 21-gun salute echoed in the background.

His Majesty then received greetings from various Moroccan and foreign dignitaries who came to present their congratulations on this joyous occasion.

The Sovereign received well-wishes from Prime Minister Aziz Akhannouch, President of the House of Representatives Rachid Talbi Alami, and President of the House of Councillors Enaam Mayara.

King Mohammed VI also received congratulations from heads and representatives of various constitutional institutions and judicial and administrative bodies in the Kingdom. These included the Supreme Council of the Judiciary, the Public Prosecutor’s Office, the Constitutional Court, the Court of Auditors, the Economic, Social and Environmental Council, the Supreme Council for Education, Training and Scientific Research, and the National Human Rights Council.

His Majesty also greeted senior officers from the Royal Armed Forces, Royal Gendarmerie, Royal Air Force, Royal Navy, and Auxiliary Forces, as well as former officials of the Royal Armed Forces and Royal Guard.

The King also received deans of the diplomatic corps from various continents and representatives of religious communities in Morocco.

The celebration of the 25th anniversary of King Mohammed VI’s accession to the throne by the Moroccan people on this day serves as an occasion for all components of the nation to renew their loyalty and unwavering attachment to the Glorious Alaouite Throne.

This event underscores the strong bond between the Moroccan people and their monarch, highlighting the continuity of the Alaouite dynasty and the progress achieved under King Mohammed VI’s leadership over the past quarter-century.
