On July 20, 2024, the file of the corruption network related to the President of the Jnan Al-Ward Provincial Council, Reda Assal, was presented to the attention of the investigating judge at the Fez Court of Appeal. Charges were brought against 25 defendants, including officials and employees of local administrations, in cases related to bribery, squandering public funds, and forging documents.

Charges against:
- Felony bribery, squandering public funds, and handing over documents to a person he knows has no right to them.
- Felony bribery.
- Unlawful access and delivery of documents issued by the public administration.
- He made documents that he knew were incorrect.
Court decisions:
- Following up on defendants in the event of arrest, except for some exceptions:
- Saeed Bouayad is awaiting release on bail of 30,000 dirhams.
The defendants (14-18) are being released on bail of 5,000 dirhams. - Saeed Ateeq and Osama Belmukaddam are being released without bail.
The defendants (19-25) had their file referred to the Violations Section of the Court of First Instance.
The outcome of the case was postponed to an investigation session on October 1, 2024.
